As your Center Township Trustee, I am focused on delivering essential services reliably, strengthening public safety, and managing taxpayer dollars responsibly.

 

Since taking office, we have expanded Township Assistance so it reaches residents who truly need help, and added accountability through dedicated case management. As a result, we now serve hundreds of residents — more than triple the number served before my term — without significantly increasing the budget or raising taxes. 

 

Public safety has also seen meaningful improvement. Working closely with Fire Chief Seymour, we stabilized the fire department through disciplined fiscal and operational decisions, secured updated equipment, established a rigorous training schedule, and ensured dependable staffing. Since January 1, 2023, the department has never operated with fewer than three firefighters on duty. 

 

These improvements were made responsibly. Overall township spending has remained essentially unchanged since I took office, and the certified tax levy has remained flat or decreased — lower than the rate in place before my term. 

 

Local government works best when it is steady, transparent, and focused on outcomes rather than rhetoric. That is the standard I bring to this office and will continue to uphold.
